In this module we are going to develop awareness inside the guard when someone is attacking your arms, keeping in mind a lot of what I teach can be applied in multiple areas of your game. We are going to focus on developing three skills sets:
1. The type of grips being applied to lockdown the arm.
2. The position or orientation of your elbow.
3. Leaning into the pressure.
For each module we are going use a teaching method I call, "Grip, Frame, Tension" technique to develop our balance, awareness and reactions while your partner applies degrees of resistance based on proficiency.
For 30-60 secs I want you to focus on holding that position. Your Job is to stay in there and shutdown the attacks!
