In this module we are going to look at two grips used to lockdown the arm and immobilize your opponent. You must always keep that downward forward pressure to restrict movement and wear down your opponent. Our three focus points are going to be:
1. Gripping to prevent arm extension.
2. Framing to save energy.
3. Tension to control wear down the position.
We want to develop your ability to weather the storm by staying tight and using your body weight to keep your opponent stacked up on their shoulders.
For 30-60 secs I want you to focus on holding that position. The goal here is to develop confidence in your ability to create a pressure, tension and cause your opponent to react.
