Collar/Arm drag to back control...Now you see me, now you don't.
This is a very effective way to get off your back and on to your opponents. Even if you miss the back, most of the time you end up getting the top position. I have been using this set up for 20 years, it never gets old! Its smooth, easy to do and can turn the fight in a blink of an eye.
When performing the collar drag remember to grab high on the collar to create leverage. When pulling, occupy the space your opponent wants to go so you can guide them where you want them to go.
Elbow to the ground vs. hand to the ground when performing the collar drag.
Once you have taken the back from the collar drag you have a multitude of finishing options...short choke, rear naked, cross collar, bow and arrow.
